BlaqBonez – You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Life [MI Abaga Reply]

M.I in his latest release called out to Nigerian rappers to “Fix Up Their Lives”. In the three and a half minute
lyrical tongue lashing, The Chairman bemoaned the fact that Nigerian rappers were getting killed by their South African counterparts and also took shots at Nigerian rappers turned singers among other topics.

After the song dropped, an online debate kicked off about the state and decline of Nigerian hip-hop. Valid points were raised, some opinions blamed the rappers, others blamed the media and some apportioned the blame to the fans but BlaqBonez decided to literally voice his opinions, and in this 4-minute track, he bears his heart out.

Phyno has put out the video to his song titled ‘ One Chance ‘, which had the input of Jamaican singer, Kramium. The Penthauze rapper takes a dip into the International pool with this collaboration and Kramium justified his invitation with the delivery of a perfect hook on the love-themed song. Not surprisingly, Phyno serves most of his rap lines in his native tongue while Kramium spices up the song with some Reggae flavor. Phyno is widely known as the ambassador of rap music in the Igbo Language. Most of his raps are delievered in Igbo because, according to him, he respects his culture and loves being himself. However, he adds a bit of Nigerian Pidgin and English in his music.
